No stars were awarded, but the guide offered recognition for area spots

For the first time, the Michelin Guide has included Jacksonville and Northeast Florida in the Florida restaurants it considers for its highest three-star rating, according to our news partner, the Jacksonville Daily Record.
Michelin didn’t hand out any of its coveted stars to local establishments, but nine restaurants were recognized with recommendations:
Salt, Amelia Island
Bearded Pig, San Marco
Rue Saint Marc, San Marco
Eggboy, Atlantic Beach
Bar Citra, St.Augustine
Sunday, St. Augustine
Lotus Noodle Bar, St. Augustine
Asado Life, St. Augustine
Afternoon, Gainesville
