One of the toughest aspects of making lifestyle changes is figuring out exactly what steps to take. Plenty of us are keen to boost our wellbeing through better eating and fitness, but without hiring a dietitian or personal trainer to map out new routines, it’s tricky to know where to start.
The internet can offer guidance for planning your health journey, but you’ll still need to put in some effort yourself. That’s why some people have begun using ChatGPT instead, as you can ask the AI tool to create a workout programme or healthy eating plan, and it does the heavy lifting for you.
One mum who’s using ChatGPT to “upgrade” her life recently revealed that the AI programme instructed her to jump up and down 100 times every single day, claiming it would “change her life” if she stuck with it.
Katie, who frequently posts videos on Instagram about the “dream life” that ChatGPT is helping her create, shared a clip of herself jumping up and down in her kitchen, explaining she’d been following this routine for the past 110 days after ChatGPT recommended it would transform her life.
The video simply showed her jumping, but in the caption, she outlined some of the ways her life has shifted thanks to her new exercise habit – and some of the outcomes have left her stunned.

Katie revealed that over the past 110 days, her posture has got better, her calves are more defined, her skin has been “glowing”, and she’s found herself with more energy to power through the rest of her day.
She also mentioned feeling less bloated and reckons she now looks “a little snatched” – meaning her waistline has shrunk as she’s shed some pounds through her workout regime.
The mum added that it’s helped her establish a fresh routine, as she now feels she’s “set up for productivity” for the day when she completes her 100 jumps each morning.
Those commenting on the post were gobsmacked by the transformation Katie has experienced from her new fitness habit. Many revealed they were planning to start doing 100 jumps a day themselves in their own morning schedules to try and achieve similar outcomes.
One person commented: “I’m also going to start doing 100 jumps a day!”
Another shared: “I’ve always heard of this but never knew if it actually worked.”
A third posted: “I’ve been doing 50 hops every morning, and it helps me wake up, first thing [in the morning] when my feet hit the ground, I do my hops! I love it!”
Whilst jumping can be beneficial by building muscle strength, torching calories, and even easing stress through the release of endorphins, it’s not appropriate exercise for everyone. People with joint issues, particularly in the knees, or certain medical conditions that might make jumping challenging, should ease in gradually or seek medical advice before starting the exercise.
Always take advice from ChatGPT with a grain of salt, and ensure you do plenty of research on your own before making any lifestyle changes it might recommend.
