Home and Away spoilers follow for UK viewers.
Next week on Home and Away, fans can expect another set of emotional episodes. The Summer Bay community goes into mourning following the loss of someone close to them all, while Mackenzie and Levi continue to deal with their own tragedy.

1. Theo’s fate leaves everyone in shock
Channel 5
Police officers call at Justin and Leah’s house to break the tragic news that Theo has been killed. A grief-stricken Leah is taken to the scene of the crime, just in time to see a body bag being zipped closed and wheeled into the back of an ambulance.
Down at the police station, Lacey is interviewed over what happened to Theo. Adamant that justice should be served, she explains that corrupt Councillor Wendell tried to run her over and Theo stepped in to save her life.
2. Lacey faces Leah’s fury

The next morning, Lacey insists on visiting Justin and Leah to give them a full account of what happened to their beloved nephew. She faces an angry reaction from Leah, who points out that Lacey’s risky scheme against Wendell got Theo killed.
Justin watches on with concern – and there’s worse to come when Leah points out that she never saw Theo’s body last night. Clearly in denial, she asks how they can even be sure that Theo is dead.
3. Leah’s outburst leaves Lacey blaming herself

Lacey decides that Leah is right about who’s to blame for Theo’s death, despite David’s attempts to persuade her otherwise.
David is also preoccupied by the search for Councillor Wendell, who hasn’t shown up for work. The search is on for Theo’s killer, but David is torn between his fatherly duty to Lacey and his responsibilities with the investigation.
4. Bree is called to support Leah

Leah remains fixated on the idea that Theo could still be alive, despite Justin’s reminders that Lacey saw the tragedy unfold right before her eyes. Justin tries to pacify Leah by finding a way to get proof, but David warns that nobody can see Theo until the coroner releases his body.
Justin asks if Bree can step in to support Leah at this difficult time, but Leah is offended when she realises that Justin is worried she’s having another breakdown.
In the end, David steps in with the honesty that Leah needs – Theo’s mum has already identified his body and it’s definitely him.
5. Jo winds up Tane
Channel 5
Jo confronts Tane after he left an emotional voicemail message about his feelings for her while he was attending Cash and Eden’s wedding. Tane tries to downplay the situation, claiming that the champagne must have had a funny effect on him.
Enjoying the awkward moment, Jo plays Tane the voicemail so he can hear it for himself – but soon gets distracted when she learns what’s happened to Lacey and Theo.
Once alone, Harper reminds Tane that he was designated driver at the wedding so was clearly speaking from the heart when he phoned Jo…
6. Tane steps in to support Jo

Tane helps Jo to process her emotions, as she’s hit hard by the news of Lacey’s near-death experience and the tragic loss of Theo.
Jo admits that she also partly feels a sense of relief, as it’s now 100% confirmed that she didn’t cause the accident that killed her mother. Tane encourages her to feel whatever she wants to feel when she’s around him, as there’ll be no judgement.
7. Remi and Bree reconnect amid the tragedy

Bree messages Remi as she wants to tell him the terrible news about Theo, but he avoids reading the text.
When Bree shows up in person, Remi’s devastated to learn that Theo has died. Bree pulls him in for a hug and he reciprocates, but quickly regrets being so vulnerable around his ex.
8. Mackenzie and Levi struggle with their grief
Channel 5
Mackenzie is hurt when she realises that Levi intended to shield her from the news of Theo’s death – not wanting to upset her further after the recent loss of their baby. She’s frustrated that Levi and their loved ones all seem to be tip-toeing around her.
Levi admits that he’s being overprotective, but also expresses his fears that Mackenzie isn’t properly acknowledging her grief.
9. Mackenzie breaks down at work
Channel 5
Mackenzie considers reaching out to Levi and telling him how she really feels, but she gets distracted by a text from Dean. The message, complete with a picture, reveals that Mac’s baby niece has arrived.
Mackenzie breaks down upon receiving the photo, as it’s a reminder of everything that she’s lost. However, she soon comes up with the idea of taking a trip to Queensland to help out with the new baby.
10. Levi is left more concerned than ever
Channel 5
Levi can’t believe what he’s seeing when he finds Mackenzie packing her bags for the impromptu trip to Queensland. He’s hurt that Mackenzie hasn’t even checked in with him over how he’d feel about being alone for a while.
Levi urges Mackenzie to at least tell Dean about their recent IVF attempts and the miscarriage, but she refuses to listen.
11. Theo’s mum arrives

Theo’s mother Cassandra arrives in the Bay, telling Justin and Leah that she wants to collect his things. Justin and Leah are forced to break the news that Theo had moved out a while ago – something he clearly hadn’t told his mum.
As Cassandra learns more about Theo’s life over the past year, she’s concerned to hear about the messy start to his relationship with Lacey – including the illegal car racing. Cassandra questions why it’s the first she’s hearing of all this, but Justin and Leah remind her that Theo was an adult and they couldn’t contact her with every detail of his life.
12. Leah faces a funeral ban
Channel 5
Cassandra visits the police station to hear from David about the circumstances surrounding Theo’s death. She struggles to hear David’s full perspective, as Leah keeps interrupting with angry outbursts about Lacey.
Shortly afterwards, Cassandra turns the tables on Leah by pointing out that she’d entrusted her to look after her son. She bans Leah from the funeral and warns her to stay away from her family too.
13. Remi gives the newlyweds some space
Channel 5
Cash and Eden arrive home from a perfect honeymoon, but they’re surprised to realise that Remi is nowhere to be seen.
The couple find a card from Remi, announcing that he’s moved out. Remi adds that they can have the place to themselves as he’s paid rent until the end of the year, as a wedding present.
