Emmerdale spoilers follow.
Emmerdale aired the return of Dylan Penders in tonight’s episode – but did you recognise him?
As tensions continue to rise between Moira Dingle and Joe Tate over the future of Butler’s Farm, the property received two terrifying visitors who threatened Moira’s stepson Kyle – and one of them you’ve seen before.
The episode began with Joe Tate stopping by the farm to convince Moira to sell to Kim Tate, reminding her that he’ll go to any lengths to get the property.
A resolute Moira turned down his offer again, telling him she won’t change her mind.
Joe was next seen at home on the phone, instructing whoever was on the other line to “get it done, whatever it takes”.

Back at Butler’s Farm, Kyle Winchester and Isaac Dingle were seen kicking a ball around together, and when Moira arrived, the pair asked her if they were going to lose their home because of Joe and Kim.
Moira assured the two boys that this wouldn’t happen and left them playing ball. A few minutes later, a loud noise was heard from the barn.
Kyle told Isaac to flee and went in to investigate, finding two boys wearing black balaclavas.

He grabbed a pitchfork to protect himself and his home, leading one of the masked pair to warn that he didn’t want to hurt him.
Kyle panicked and launched the pitchfork at one of the boys, stabbing him in the leg, who turned out to be a masked Dylan. As Dylan cried out in pain, the other masked intruder went to enact revenge on Kyle, but Moira showed up with a shotgun and scared them off.
Moira filled Cain Dingle in on the terrifying encounter. He threatened to go round and see to Joe, but Moira insisted that they go to the police.

Sure enough, a police officer later arrived at Hope Farm with questions for Joe, who managed to avoid suspicion by faking surprise and claiming he had no knowledge of the Butler farm intrusion.
After the police officer told Cain and Moira that they’d be dropping the investigation due to little evidence, Moira stormed over to Hope Farm to deliver a message.
She arrived full of rage, and when Joe insulted Kyle, Moira went to slap him, accidentally catching Lydia Dingle with the blow instead.
Moira apologised to Lydia and went to leave, but not before telling Joe to stay away from her family for good.
Emmerdale airs on weeknights at 7.30pm on ITV1, and streams on ITVX.
