The founder of a new healthy eatery in Leicester is planning to offer a variety of food options, with the goal of making “wellness delicious”.

Dupe, in Francis Street, Stoneygate, opened its doors on Friday, February 6. Its aim is to deliver “wholesome and tasty” food which promotes a healthy lifestyle.

On its menu are a range of bowls, as well as sandwiches and wraps. Customers can order an acai bowl, as well as matcha and vanilla protein bowls, which feature fresh fruit, chia seeds, and peanut butter.

Chicken, steak, and sweet potato are among the other bowls offered, which will contain rice and greens, among other ingredients. For those looking for a sandwich or wrap, there are choices of steak, chicken, or tuna.

As well as hot drinks, Dupe also has several shots and juices on the menu, including a “glass skin” juice which is made with green apple, kiwi, celery and cucumber.

Its shots include “collagen”, made with beetroot, orange and carrot, as well as “hot shots” such as “ginger iced cube which consists of ginger, cayenne pepper and lemon.

The eatery also sells “protein treat balls”, made with protein powder and other ingredients. They are available in the following flavours – Oreo, Snickers and Biscoff.

Dupe describes itself as healthy and fast-casual food which is made fresh and caters for high protein, keto and gluten-free diets. It hopes to create convenience for busy schedules, a post-workout refuel and those who are seeking feel-good meals.
