Coronation Street spoilers follow.
Coronation Street’s Abi Webster takes another major risk next week as she lies to slip away from her husband Kevin yet again.
Abi is currently infatuated with her brother-in-law Carl, with the pair in the early stages of a steamy affair storyline.
In next Wednesday’s episode (13 August), Carl befriends James Bailey and arranges some personal training sessions with him.
His attention then shifts to Abi, who’s nearby at the garage, and he sends her a flirty text that makes her smile.

Struggling to hide her excitement, Abi suddenly asks to leave work early and feigns a migraine.
The guilty look on Abi’s face says it all, though – it seems that this is her latest ruse to sneak off and spend time with Carl without anyone getting suspicious.
This time it could be a risk too far, though. Spoilers have previously revealed that Tyrone Dobbs spots Carl in his car later in the day, which forces his sneaky passenger Abi to hide from view.
“Talk about risky. Ty recognises the vehicle, so Carl jumps out and races over, while Abi sinks as low as she can,” our Corrie source revealed.
“You’ll have to wait and see whether Tyrone spots her…”

Meanwhile, next week’s episodes also see Abi and Carl take a strange interest in a prank photo that Hope Dobbs has taken of Tyrone’s bum crack.
Hope threatens to post the picture online, but Abi and Carl seem oddly determined to make sure that this doesn’t happen. Does the photo somehow expose their secret?
“Abi starts to panic when Kevin asks to see the funny pic,” our insider added. “In fact, as soon as he does, she suggests that Tyrone should give Hope her phone back.
“Soap bosses are keeping quiet about exactly why Abi feels so disturbed – but considering that she later recruits Carl to fix things, it must be something to do with those two…”
Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8pm on ITV1 and streams on ITVX.
