Emmerdale favourite Moira Dingle will face off against newcomer Celia Daniels in future episodes.
Speaking with The Mirror, actor Natalie J. Robb confirmed that Moira will “get her fight back” after realising that Celia’s been plotting against her.
As she continues to grieve for Nate Robinson while contending with financial issues, Moira’s life is expected to take another tumultuous turn after she’s thrust into a power struggle with Celia and Kim.
“Moira doesn’t expect Celia to be so devious, and so you know she is going to come a cropper at some point,” Robb told The Mirror.
“I love the strong women in the soap and, in the future, I would love it if Kim and Moira joined forces – although arch-enemies – to battle against Celia.”

Earlier this month, fans watched as Celia – whose offer to rent Butler’s Farm was previously rejected by Moira – took a different approach and befriended the character, presenting her with a potential revenue stream that could save her home and business.
Unfortunately for Moira, Celia tells her that the contract has fallen through, leaving Moira out of pocket once more, in episodes airing next week.
During their conversation, Celia also admits that she’s planning to turn her back on farming and tries to convince Moira to do the same.

Following Celia’s arrival, Robb has hinted that the character isn’t who she seems. “The question is, Celia could be working with someone else to try and push her out, but it’s whether Celia will stick with that,” the actor said.
“She’s someone Moira doesn’t want to be reckoned with. She’s not somebody you would go against.”
Jaye Griffiths, who portrays Celia, has shed some light on her character too, describing her as a “strange, complex woman” who is “fun” to play.
“Celia wears farm clothes, but there is not a scrap of mud on her. She is immaculate. She wears a cravat and there is a reason for that,” Griffiths teased.
