Emmerdale spoilers follow.

Emmerdale’s Kammy Hadiq may finally be lucky in love next week, as Belle Dingle gives him another chance.

The cheeky mechanic feels uncharacteristically awkward when his boss Cain sends him out to fix Belle’s car.

Cain’s instructions come after a disastrous attempt at a date left Kammy confused and Belle feeling hurt last week.

However, his hesitation soon turns to delight when the wedding planner enthusiastically suggests that they turn over a new leaf and give their budding romance another go.

Belle suggests a second lunch date so they can get to know each other properly. Will it all go as Belle hopes?

The pair’s original date aired in Thursday’s episode (14 August), as Kammy messed up by making thoughtless “jokes” around Belle.

Kammy’s insensitive remarks – particularly making light of mental health medication – went down badly with Belle and she walked out of The Hide. She later confided in Lydia Dingle about what had happened, wondering whether she’d overreacted.

Shebz Miah, who plays Kammy, recently told us: “He’s a man in demand! Someone on the farm has taken a liking to that, I guess. We’ll just have to wait and see what happens, but make sure you stay tuned as the fans are going to absolutely love it.”

On Kammy and Belle, he continued: “Stay tuned because that is blossoming. Belle has been through a lot and Kammy is quite empathetic, in the sense that he understands where people are coming from and how their experiences affect them.

“Even though Kammy is a bit rough around the edges, he might be Belle’s Prince Charming, let’s wait and see…”
