It never gets boring in Walford, as an EastEnders star has teased a “perfect” storyline coming to our screens soon.
Soap star Colin Salmon, who plays George Knight on the BBC One series, has hinted at a “really disturbing” development for his character and his family.
Speaking on Good Morning Britain today, Salmon warned fans they better brace themselves for what lies ahead.
“We’ve got another storyline you haven’t seen before. I did the farming storyline, we have another storyline that is perfect for this time, it’s real, it’s really disturbing and it’s coming,” Salmon said.
He remained tightlipped on the specifics, adding to hosts Charlotte Hawkins and Rob Rinder: “I can’t tell you what it is.”

Previously appearing in the James Bond movies and on Doctor Who, Salmon joined EastEnders in June 2023 alongside Harriet Thorpe as Elaine Peacock, and Molly Rainford and Francesca Henry as George’s daughters Anna and Gina.
George has been at the centre of many a dramatic storyline during his time on the Square, including the discovery that his parents had been paid to adopt him as the soap explored a baby farming storyline.
The ex-husband of Cindy Beale and now the estranged spouse of Elaine, George has recently caved to passion with Nicola Mitchell.
