After months of speculation, Taylor Swift had her fairytale wedding.
On Friday, 3 July, the superstar and her partner, Travis Kelce, hosted 1,000 of their closest friends at Madison Square Garden to celebrate their nuptials. And for the occasion, both the bride and the groom turned to Jonathan Anderson and the house of Dior.
Swift’s decision to wear Dior was unexpected (many bets were on Stella McCartney or Oscar de la Renta), though not entirely surprising. The house has a storied history with dressing the biggest brides in Hollywood – from Olivia De Havilland to Rita Hayworth – and a more recent history with the “Love Story” star herself.

Although Swift had yet to work with Anderson directly on a red-carpet look, she did turn to the heritage label’s Cruise 2025 collection for the 2024 VMAs, wearing a punk-inspired yellow tartan corset look some six months before the new creative director took the helm in April 2025. Since then, she has spent her year-long engagement trying all the best bags that Dior has to offer: the Montaigne, the mini Lady Dior (in yellow), the Cigale, the D-Motion, and more.

“This is the designer’s first couture wedding dress for a world-renowned celebrity,” stated a press release issued by Swift’s longtime publicist, Tree Paine. The statement also revealed that the newlyweds opted against bridesmaids and groomsmen. Instead, Swift’s brother Austin and Kelce’s brother Jason served as their Man of Honour and Best Man, respectively. The ceremony was officiated by Adam Sandler.
Though we don’t have photos yet, the release also revealed that Swift accessorised with Cartier jewellery, Louboutin heels, and of course her sparkling engagement ring, which Kelce popped the question with last summer. The custom vintage-inspired piece was designed by Kindred Lubeck at Artifex Fine Jewelry, whose work Swift had first introduced to her husband a year and a half before he proposed.
“I just thought her stuff was so cool,” she explained during an appearance on the Heart Breakfast radio show last October. “I had shown him a video like a year and a half ago and he was just paying attention to everything it turns out because when I saw the ring I [gasped]. I was like, ‘I know who made this, I know who made this,’ and also, you listen to me!” Swift said.
“It was like, ‘you really know me’. I didn’t know what I would want, but he did somehow, and that’s kind of a flex,” she added.
