Hollyoaks has aired a dramatic arrest as part of Lucas Hay’s ongoing abuse plot following a twist that saw someone else take the blame for Lucas’ violent behaviour. Viewers know that Lucas has been involved in a dark storyline for the past few months which has seen the troubled teen physically abusing his dad Ste.
In Wednesday’s episode, it looked as though Lucas would finally get his comeuppance after he accused his ex-boyfriend Dillon of cheating on him with Frankie during a tirade at Casa McQueen.
After Ste attempted to comfort his son, Lucas was sent a video of the embarrassing ordeal, which had been posted online. Flipping out, Lucas punched Ste to the ground as Dillon walked in to witness the attack.
In tonight’s episode, Dillon was horrified to catch Lucas red-handed. “That wasn’t self-defence and this isn’t the first time this has happened either,” Dillon screamed at Lucas.
Lucas ran off to Leela’s house where a concerned Leela asked Lucas if his dad had hurt him again. Lucas lied and told her his dad had attacked him.

Dillon was horrified when Ste opened up about the abuse he had suffered at the hands of Lucas. “He’s not an abuser. He’s my son and I love him,” Ste told Dillon.
After Ste blamed himself, Dillon said: “Lucas won the lottery having you as a dad.” Dillon leaned in for a kiss and he and Ste slept together.
Regretting his actions, Ste blamed himself for Lucas’ violent side, but Dillon urged him to seek help. “You’re the victim here,” Dillon said, adding: “Why can’t you accept that? Do you think it makes you less of a man?”

Leela told the police that Ste had assaulted Lucas. While Ste was being taken to the station, Leela berated her brother as Dillon pleaded Ste’s innocence. Lucas stayed silent as Ste broke down.
Dodger and Sully conducted Ste’s interview and Ste said he was guilty, but he responded with “no comment” when asked for further information.
Wanting justice, Dodger’s anger got the better of him and he slammed Ste against the wall before Sully intervened. Will the truth about Lucas ever come out?
