The special is expected to look back on the very beginning of Gavin and Stacey, recalling all the crucial steps in the making of the show — from Jones and Corden’s first pitch to the “emotionally overwhelming” final day of filming.
It’s a “one-of-a-kind event” and an unmissable opportunity for fans who haven’t missed an episode of the beloved BBC comedy.
Premiered in 2007, Gavin and Stacey aired three seasons as well as three Christmas specials, including last December’s record-breaking finale.

After a few detours, the series culminated in a last-minute, lowkey wedding, sealing the deal on its “will they, won’t they” arc.
When Gavin Met Stacey An Evening with Ruth Jones and James Corden is at the London Palladium on 6 October. Tickets go on general sale Friday, 1 August at 10am via LiveNation.co.uk.
