Post-apocalyptic series Fallout has climbed up the trending charts a year and a half after its original release. It comes ahead of the hit Prime Video show’s return later this month.
According to FlixPatrol, the series currently sits at the number 5 spot in the service’s top 10 shows, beating the likes of The Summer I Turned Pretty and Clarkson’s Farm.
The series, which is based on the video game franchise of the same name, is set a few centuries after a nuclear war, where many survivors take refuge in fallout bunkers, with one young woman setting foot outside to search for her father.
Following the acclaimed first season which boasts a near-perfect 93% score on Rotten Tomatoes, a second is on the way later this month, and was recently teased in a first look.
Fallout was called “bingeable” by San Jose Mercury News, while Chicago Sun-Times labelled it “a clever and volatile cocktail consisting of social commentary, over-the-top action sequences, quirky dialogue and a steady stream of surprising twists, set against the backdrop of the obligatory dystopian Future”.

In Digital Spy’s five-star review, we wrote: “Fallout could very well end up being the kind of five-star show that people will obsess over in two centuries from now, huddled up in a vault watching old tapes of times gone by as the world burns outside.”
Alongside a second season, fans can expect a third in the future, with executive producers Jonah Nolan and Lisa Joy saying earlier this year: “The holidays came a little early this year — we are thrilled to be ending the world all over again for a third season of Fallout.
