Home and Away spoilers follow for UK viewers.
Home and Away’s Leah Patterson risks a furious backlash next week as she continues to cross the line in her feud with Lacey Miller. As Leah refuses to back down from blaming Lacey for Theo Poulos’s death, she could be starting to lose sympathy from those around her.
The ongoing tension ramps up yet again when Leah reads a sensationalised newspaper article, which paints Lacey as a hero for her actions on the night of Theo’s death. Lacey receives high praise for bringing corrupt Councillor Wendell to justice, but Theo is only mentioned once.
“Leah can’t believe that Theo has been sidelined in the article, despite losing his life on that fateful evening,” our Home and Away source explains. “Of course, Lacey had nothing to do with the insensitive article, but Leah can’t help assuming the worst about her at every opportunity.
“Before long, Leah has convinced herself that Lacey set up the article to make herself look good. She vows to speak her mind, despite her husband Justin warning that it’s not a good idea.”

When Lacey sees the article for herself, she’s shocked that it was even published after she’d asked the journalist to leave her alone.
Lacey tries to explain this when Leah angrily berates her, but is left disappointed when her new enemy stubbornly refuses to listen.
“Leah continues to rant about Lacey being the reason for Theo’s death,” our insider continues. “She’s fixated on her belief that the tragedy would never have happened if Lacey hadn’t taken such a big risk to bring down Wendell.
“Fortunately, Lacey’s dad David is on hand to break up the ugly showdown and move Leah away.”

Once they’re alone, David makes it clear to Lacey that he’s had enough of Leah’s grief-fuelled behaviour. After seeing Lacey reduced to tears by the Diner boss, he’s adamant that something must change.
David urges Lacey to take out an Apprehended Violence Order (AVO) against Leah, which would legally oblige her to stay away. Lacey refuses, believing that it would only make life harder for Leah at such a difficult time.
Changing tactics, David approaches Justin and firmly warns him that Leah needs to tone it down. But will this really be the end of it?
