Home and Away spoilers follow for Australian-paced episodes, which some UK viewers may prefer to avoid.
Home and Away has confirmed the exact date for Brax and Ricky’s long-awaited return to the soap. Last year, it was confirmed that the two characters will be making a comeback after a decade off screen, with Stephen Peacocke and Bonnie Sveen reprising their roles.
The pair will be back on screens as part of Tane Parata’s storyline, with the character set to go on the run after being framed by evil Kerrie. Mack gets her brother Dean to call up Brax, who is now living in the Western Australian outback. But will he help Tane disappear?
It’s now been confirmed that Brax and Ricky’s scenes will debut on Monday, 9 March for Australian viewers, while UK fans should expect it around Friday, 17 April by estimation of the transmission gap.
Addressing his character’s current status, Peacocke recently told TV Week: “For all his faults, Brax is always about his family and that has shifted now from his brothers to Ricky and Casey.
“He’s matured and is very protective of Casey and the life that they’ve got. He’s keeping Casey out of any kind of life that he grew up with, and he’s proud that he’s doing that.”

Speaking about returning to Home and Away, he added: “I was made aware that it had been a decade away, so when it came up, I really wanted to do it.
“And it was on a remote cattle station and an hour away from a world-class reef, that was a sweetener. I knew the audience will enjoy it and I don’t take that for granted.”

Sveen previously said of her comeback: “Bringing Ricky back wasn’t something I’d ever expected, so I’m beyond thrilled to reunite with Steve and old friends at Home and Away.
“Exploring where Ricky and Brax are now, 10 years on, will make for a very special and compelling storyline – and I can’t wait for our WA filming adventure.”
Home and Away drops new episodes on weekdays at 6am on 5’s streaming service with a 6.30pm screening on 5STAR. Selected classic episodes are available via Prime Video in the UK.
In Australia, the show airs Mondays to Thursdays at 7pm on Channel 7 and streams on 7Plus.
