The hilarious first trailer for Last One Laughing season 2 has landed, with standout turns from Alan Carr and returning champion Bob Mortimer. The pair are part of the impressive cast for the next edition of the Prime Video show alongside Romesh Ranganathan, Maisie Adam, David Mitchell, Mel Giedroyc, Sam Campbell, Diane Morgan, Amy Gledhill and Gbemisola Ikumelo.
The series sees the group of comedians put into a room as they’re tasked with making each other laugh – while also desperately trying to avoid corpsing themselves.
In the brief teaser, we get a taste of all the antics to come, including Alan asking the others whether he was “constipated or concentrating”, and Bob doing an impression of a “randy dolphin” to Mel.
Other big moments include David joking that Masie “used” him, as well as the Ludwig star having an epic shout-off with Sam.
Season one winner Bob previously spoke about Alan’s performance on Last One Laughing and how it compares to his winning turn on The Celebrity Traitors last year.

“It’s very difficult not to laugh,” he told This Morning. “Can you imagine the problem Alan had trying not to laugh? He’s a giggler.”
He also teased that someone may be eliminated thanks to one of his hilarious songs, recalling: “In the new series, I think I do get rid of someone via the gift of song. I think so, yeah.”
Last One Laughing became a big hit on Prime Video last year, and was soon renewed for a second run, Bob admitting that they “absolutely [did] not” predict the show would be so big. “That’s probably the reason a lot of us did it. We thought, ‘Well, no-one’s gonna watch it’,” he added.

Speaking about the renewal, host Jimmy Carr said in a statement: “I’m absolutely delighted that Last One Laughing is coming back for a second series.
“I think what’s happened is someone high up at Amazon has clicked ‘subscribe & save’ on Prime Video and, hey presto, we’re back in business.”
Last One Laughing UK season 2 begins on Thursday, 19 March on Prime Video. Season 1 is streaming now.
