Hollyoaks spoilers follow for the latest episode on Channel 4 streaming, that hasn’t aired on E4 yet.
Hollyoaks has confirmed a shocking death after last week’s gun cliffhanger, and it’s devastating news for one villager.
Last Wednesday saw Clare Devine escape from prison and turn up at Froggy Black’s flat. They fought, a gunshot was heard, and a body fell to the floor.

The opening scenes of Easter Monday’s episode saw Dodger Savage and a group of armed police swarm the flat, and when Rex Gallagher came home, Dodger confirmed that Froggy had been shot and killed.
Unfortunately for Rex, he wasn’t allowed to stay with his granddad’s body as it was considered a crime scene.
Froggy, played by Emmerdale’s John Middleton, was introduced last August on the Channel 4 soap. At first, he was presented as someone high up in the criminal underworld, with the kind of connections that could make all sorts of things happen, and had enough people working for him within the police to get away with them.
But after Grace’s death and Clare’s imprisonment, his character softened. He was sickened at his son Sully’s disgusting actions, and became Rex’s main pillar of support as he explored his gender identity and fell out with fiancé Ste Hay over it.
In today’s episode, Ste found Rex heartbroken and crying in the alleyway over Froggy’s death, and said that he’d always be there for him.

After the murder, Clare turned up at Donny Clark’s house to blackmail him, showing no remorse over killing her own family.
Donny didn’t allow Clare to blackmail him again, and revealed to Misbah Maalik that he killed Griff in anger. Misbah gave Clare some jewellery to pawn and she scarpered.
While Sienna Blake, Cleo and Mercedes McQueen, and Warren Fox were distracted, Clare snuck into the car with Tori and sped off… with baby Joseph in the back seat.
Hollyoaks airs on Mondays-Wednesdays with its Channel 4 streaming premiere at 7am, then an E4 broadcast the same night at 7pm. Full episodes are also released on YouTube a week after their Channel 4 release.
Selected omnibus episodes are available via Prime Video.
