Over the weekend, Olivia Colman made an unexpected appearance at Paris Fashion Week, walking the Miu Miu spring/summer 2027 runway. And while we were, of course, championing the Oscar-winning actor’s debut as a model, it was her long grey after-party curls that had us doing a serious double take.
Because, dare we say, Olivia was giving Julia Roberts. Specifically, Julia Roberts in 80s, 90s and early 2000s. I’m talking big, bouncy curls but with a distinctly 2026 update thanks to all that silver.
Olivia first stepped out with said silver hair last week in Switzerland [28 September], saying goodbye to the pixie and going full-force hair transformation with super long hair extensions. ‘Twas a shocker!
This weekend, however, she really took the new ‘do for a spin. On the Miu Miu runway, Olivia wore her lengths in a messy low ponytail, but it was the after-party look that really got us. Her hair has been transformed into tight, voluminous curls that could have walked straight off the set of Pretty Woman.

Everyone’s clicking on…Hair aside, Olivia’s outfit was also giving us a little Julia flashback. The oversized blazer, jeans and heels? Yeah, those were also straight out of the 90s rom-com wardrobe handbook.
At this point, all she needs is a convertible, a Hollywood meet-cute and Richard Gere waiting around the corner!
