As Hyrox scales into gyms and studios worldwide, Orangetheory becomes one of its most high-profile affiliate partners
Hyrox athletes will now have a new place to train for the race’s signature grind, and it’s inside one of the most data-driven studios in the game: Orangetheory Fitness.
The heart-rate-based group fitness franchise has teamed with Hyrox to become an official affiliate partner, turning select Orangetheory studios into spaces built for training in a format modeled after Hyrox’s fitness-racing structure.
Although Orangetheory didn’t specify the number of participating locations, the franchise says the partnership will activate hundreds of Hyrox Training Clubs with custom-built classes for members who want to train for upcoming races or level up their weekly routines.
The programming, which begins Dec. 1, mirrors Hyrox’s format and combines treadmill work, rowing and functional strength exercises across eight stations, each separated by a one-kilometer run.
At the same time, Orangetheory has kicked off a new ad campaign built around four authentic member transformations. The Hyrox partnership highlights the other side of its offerings, with structured, race-ready training for members who are hungry for a competitive challenge.
“Hyrox tests what happens when strength meets stamina and that’s where Orangetheory shines,” Orangetheory vice president of fitness Scott Brown said. “Many people don’t realize Hyrox is predominantly an 8K race of compromised running, not just a test of strength and power.”
Brown added that Orangetheory’s connected treadmill and rower intervals make it ideal conditioning for Hyrox.

Orangetheory studios that opt in will be listed on the Hyrox website and offer members early access to race registrations across North America.
The global fitness racing brand has been stacking strategic alliances across studios, equipment, hospitality and tech as it scales.

Even connected fitness is getting into the Hyrox game, with Peloton recently revealing it will serve as Hyrox’s official digital training partner and launch a dedicated Peloton x Hyrox Collection. The collection will offer on-demand classes based on the race’s strength and conditioning format.
And in the hospitality world, World of Hyatt recently became Hyrox’s official hotel partner for the Asia Pacific, offering recovery-focused stays and race-week amenities at participating properties.
Hyrox is also expanding through tech, partnering with One FIIT to scale the Hyrox365 Performance Hub, a digital training system that delivers eight weekly, professionally programmed workouts to gyms and coaches around the world.
