Emphasising the importance of fitness, Mandira shared, “I’m 53. I have no problem sharing my age. In my 40s, I felt nothing. In my 50s, I feel nothing. I’m lifting heavier weights now than I did in my 30s and 40s. When I say movement is medicine, exercise is medicine, it truly has been for me. It’s not just medicine—it’s a supplement. Exercise is my supplement.”

She further added, “That’s the one piece of advice I give everyone. Just exercise. Exercise and you won’t feel many of the things people, especially women, go through in their 40s and 50s. Exercise is your antidote, your preventive, and your supplement.”

On the work front, Mandira has delivered impactful performances in projects like 24: India, The Railway Men, Saaho, The Tashkent Files, and the South film Identity.
