Health and wellness company Happy Cultures has crossed an annualised revenue run-rate of Rs 50 crore after growing more than fivefold over the past year. The company recorded monthly revenue of over Rs 4 crore in both August and September and reported a threefold increase in average order value (AOV) during the period.

The company has entered the protein bars category with four yeast protein-based variants: Roasted Coffee, Dark Chocolate & Almonds, Wild Cranberry and Crunchy Peanut Butter. Each bar is priced at RS 90 and will be sold through the company’s website, online marketplaces and quick-commerce platforms.

Happy Cultures’ revenue mix reflects the growing contribution of digital sales channels, with quick commerce accounting for 40 per cent, its website contributing 30 per cent and marketplaces making up the remaining 30 per cent. Its website attracts more than two lakh visitors monthly, while its repeat purchase rate stands at nearly 25 per cent.

The company’s portfolio spans protein, nutritional supplements, gut health, sleep and wellness products. It said its melatonin products have achieved bestseller positions across multiple platforms, while its yeast protein products have ranked among bestsellers on select platforms.

Happy Cultures operates with a team of fewer than 30 people and works with specialised manufacturing partners. The company plans to expand its offerings across protein, nutritional supplementation, gut health and targeted wellness categories.
