NEW YORK (PIX11) — Thousands of bottles of a dietary supplement sold nationwide have been recalled due to undeclared egg, soy, and hazelnut allergens, according to the FDA.

Blueroot Health, Inc., headquartered in Middleton, Connecticut, issued the voluntary recall for 100 and 200-count bottles of Vital Nutrients Aller-C.

The 100-count bottles have the following identifying information:

UPC: 693465524114,693465000083

The 200-count bottles have the following identifying information:

UPC: 693465524213,693465000090

The recalled products were sold online in the following 40 states: Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Iowa, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Maryland, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Montana, North Carolina, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, Nevada, New York, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Vermont, Washington, Wisconsin, West Virginia, and Wyoming.

Consumers are asked to discontinue the use of recalled products immediately and to return them to Blueroot Health for a replacement.
