Our Experience with Legion Whey+ Protein Isolate Powder
Legion Whey+ is made with Truly Grass Fed™ certified whey isolate, sourced from small dairy farms in Ireland. The certification assures that cows are pasture-raised and fed a 95% grass diet for over 250 days each year. This protein powder is also tested in an ISO 17025-accredited third-party lab and is independently certified by Labdoor to contain no contaminants or banned substances.

Pete, a certified nutrition coach, tested Legion’s Whey+ Protein Powder. He likes products from Legion because “they are free of artificial ingredients and are third-party tested. This is a high-quality whey protein isolate supplement,” he said.
What We Liked
Here’s what our tester rated highly after trying Legion Whey+ Protein Powder.
First impressions (5 out of 5): Pete liked that Legion Whey+ uses simple packaging with a matte finish, and a bag instead of a plastic container. “I like the bag because it’s compact and easy to store,” he said.
Ease of reading and following instructions (5 out of 5): The instructions are clear and easy to put into practice.
Flavor and taste (5 out of 5): Pete enjoyed the vanilla flavor of this product, which was noticeable both in smell and taste. He noted that it’s fairly sweet with a slight stevia aftertaste. “It’s creamy and has a natural flavor profile, and I’d definitely drink it again,” Pete said.
Side effects (5 out of 5): Our tester didn’t experience any side effects, digestive issues, or weird aftertaste.
What We Would Change
Here’s what Pete would improve about Legion Whey+ Protein Powder.
Mixability (1 out of 5): The product didn’t dissolve after shaking for 60 seconds. “Without blending, there were small chunks of protein powder that floated to the top of the shaker bottle,” Pete said. He recommends blending your Legion Whey+ for it to be smooth and creamy, without any chunks.
Price (1 out of 5): At $2.17 per serving as of this writing, Legion’s protein powder is one of the more expensive proteins that we’ve tested (though not the most expensive). It’d be great if the subscribe and save option offered more savings than 10% off.
