Caffeine pouches have been getting more attention in sports nutrition, with brands from all corners of the space and the globe putting their own spin on the format. It gives consumers another way to get their energy without mixing a powder, swallowing pills, or carrying a canned or bottled drink. One of the category’s biggest names is now getting involved, with C4 unveiling C4 Energy Lip Pouches at NACS.
The product is designed to sit between the lip and gum, discreetly providing caffeine for energy, alertness, and focus. C4 hasn’t complicated the formula in its competitor, relying solely on the classic caffeine at 100mg per pouch, which is exactly half the caffeine in the 16oz C4 Energy Drink. That works out to a a strong 1.5g of caffeine in total, and they all come in a small pocket-sized package.
The all-new and upcoming C4 Energy Pouches have only been shown off in one flavor here at NACS in Las Vegas with a sweet Strawberry Blast. The brand is planning to have them available in the first quarter of next year, strengthening the legendary C4 name and putting it in front of an even broader audience.
