Dough Zone, a West Coast chain home to Chinese comfort foods like soup dumplings, Szechuan dan dan noodles and pan-fried potstickers, has opened in what was formerly Triple Rock Brewing’s expanded space. It’s an ideal spot for a fast casual lunch, and if you’re not in the mood for dumplings, try the spicy beef sandwich, sweet and sour cucumber, or Shanghainese green onion soy sauce noodles. Dough Zone, 1912 Shattuck Ave. (at Hearst Ave.), Berkeley

The restaurant formerly known as Indian Rasoi has closed and reopened under a new name, Ginger Indian Cuisine. The menu offers a broad selection of colorful dishes including lamb tikka masala, mint chicken kebabs, shrimp korma and several kinds of naan bread. Good Times Oakland, a formerly online-only bottle shop, is now fully open in its North Oakland brick-and-mortar. The shop’s retail component opened in July, but a full bar and kitchen have been in the works until now. Drop by Thursday through Monday from 12 p.m. to 10 p.m. to sample some of the 20 wines available by the glass, 12 beers and ciders on tap, and robust spirits offerings. Pair your beverage with the $5 hot dog or a cheese and charcuterie plate. Good Times Oakland, 6369 Telegraph Ave. (at Alcatraz Ave.), Oakland

The cult favorite, Oakland-born Hyphy Burger has opened a second location on International Boulevard (the original resides on West Grand Avenue). Juicy smashburgers smothered in “You Feel Me” sauce, loaded fries and shakes sporting nostalgic flavors like Fruity Pebbles and Cap’n Crunch are the main attraction here — and helped launch the West Oakland burger joint into instant classic territory after its grand opening this summer.
