Newly released schedules for the week commencing Monday 24 August have now revealed the next change on the way.
Corrie and Emmerdale both go off air on Tuesday 25 August as ITV1 is airing the EFL Carabao Cup match between Nottingham Forest and Leeds United from 7.30pm.
The shows air in their usual slots across the rest of the week. It’s yet to be officially confirmed whether ITV1 will make up for the missing episodes elsewhere in the schedules.
Last night, the two soaps were also off air for football amid some huge summer storylines.
Emmerdale’s Charity Dingle is currently facing an uncertain future after deciding to take the blame for the death of evil Dr Todd, who was shoved over by Sarah Sugden in a heated argument that went wrong.
