This week’s motivation tips are friendly reminders for all of you who like to work out in that summer heat. As temperatures rise, it’s important to stay hydrated. Keep your water bottle filled and drink all day long.

If possible, try to knock out your workout in the morning or evening, when the temperatures are slightly cooler. If running, slow down your pace and remember that it’s okay to take breaks. When picking out your workout gear, wear light, breathable clothing and try to avoid those dark colors.

Finally, listen to your body and be in tune with how you’re feeling. It’s hot out there. Don’t overdo it and get yourself hurt.
