In tonight’s episode of Emmerdale, the stakes couldn’t be higher for the main players involved in the wedding day crash horror.
Fans are still reeling after Dawn’s hopes for a second chance with Joe were derailed by Jimmy speeding through their wedding marquee in his car!

1. Joe is trapped

In the aftermath of the huge car accident, Joe finds himself trapped amid the wreckage in the wedding marquee. With debris, deco truss and other heavy equipment sprawled everywhere, it’s not easy for Joe to free himself.
Joe tries to stay calm, but with Jimmy’s car leaking petrol and various parts of the marquee looking unstable, his future isn’t looking good.
2. Jimmy is also blocked from escaping

Things aren’t looking much better for Jimmy as he regains consciousness in the crashed car but realises that he’s unable to escape.
Taking a selfless approach to the situation, Jimmy becomes fixated on making sure that Joe and Dawn are safe – the last thing he wants is another tragedy on his conscience.
3. Graham struggles to raise the alarm

Graham is also in a predicament as he’s trapped at the Home Farm stables after being physically restrained by Dawn.
He hopes to get in touch with somebody to let them know about the marquee disaster that’s unfolded, but his phone runs out of battery. It’s not like Graham to be so lax – he must be having an off day!
4. Nicola makes a shocking discovery

Nicola hops on a bicycle and heads off to meet Jimmy for the romantic afternoon he’d planned for the two of them.
During the journey, she passes the wedding marquee and is horrified as she realises what’s happened. Can she help to rescue those trapped inside before it’s too late?
5. Billy faces Kim’s anger
ITV
Billy comes face-to-face with Kim at the pub. Kim expresses her anger after Billy’s game-playing, but he makes no apologies for wanting Dawn away from Joe.
Spoiler pictures show that Billy, Kim, Graham, Belle, Kammy, Liam and Manpreet all ultimately end up at the marquee scene, joining Nicola and those still trapped inside.

6. A shocking fate is revealed

Before the end of the episode, one character loses their life amid a dramatic explosion!
