A 65-year old grandma and personal trainer has shared one of the key ways she manages to remain in such good shape. Super-fit Lesley Maxwell loves looking after her body and even attracts men half her age.
The personal trainer, who loves lifting weights, recently took to Instagram to share her advice where she recorded a video in the gym. She could be seen in a sports bra and leggings on all-fours as she demonstrated her technique. Lesley then proceeded to arch her back up and down emphasising her rock-hard abs, before kneeling and sitting in a variety of positions to give her upper and lower legs a workout too.

“Stretching is underrated, a great way to increase circulation plus increase our range of motion,” Lesley declared in a caption. “Oh… and it feels good.”
Writing in response to her video, one fan declared: “Absolutely amazing as always Lesley.” A second person gushed: “The way you stretch is sexy and attractive, keep it up.”
And a third Instagram user pointed out: “Looking so beautiful, sexy and strong, Lesley with that gorgeous muscle, toned body, pretty smile and lovely eyes. Have a wonderful work out.”
Lesley, who is from Melbourne, Australia, previously detailed her three favourite abs workouts.
She explained: “These are: 1. Squat down low and reach for the steak and eggs in your fridge.
“2. Weight train to develop muscle mass that burns calories for you even when you’re not exercising.
“3. Hanging knee raises plus ab bicycle exercises…or choose your favourite ab exercises.”
The fitness fanatic, who maintains that age poses no obstacle to fitness, attributes her physical condition to daily commitment, heavy weightlifting and a distinctive training system she has refined over the years.
She elaborated: “My routine consists of training my lower body with every workout, so that’s four days week.
“And I do my signature ‘alternating sets’ so that a lower body exercise followed by an upper body exercise.
“Sometimes I can do 50 hanging knee raises as I like hanging from the chin-up bar. It’s a great stretch for the spine, plus a challenging ab exercise.”
Meanwhile, in a bid to show others they can achieve their fitness goals later on in life, Lesley is entering a body sculpted contest next month.
The All Natural Figure Competitions is set for April 2026, where she hopes to wipe the floor with other contestants and inspire others along the way.
