Lucy Rock and Orlaith Curran spent years with the IRFU on the Ireland 7s circuit – now they’ve created online coaching community Femily to use all that rugby knowledge to connect women interested in improving performance and fitness

Elite performance, for over a decade of Lucy Rock (neé Mulhall)’s life, meant playing and captaining the Ireland women’s 7s rugby team. For Orlaith Curran, as the 7s’ strength and conditioning coach, her elite performance was ensuring the team were at their best.
“I loved every minute of it,” says Curran, who has a PhD in talent development environment in female team sport.
